....Christmas?

quote:Original Post:Even though we've not started the 2nd V-F social, I reckon time's marching on this year and if we're going to have any sort of V-F Christmas party, then we need to start planning it now. Any ideas/volunteers?

Never too early to get a Christmas Piss up Party organised. People's diaries fill up for December very early, I'm sure we'd be interested in it.

We could take a leaf (a holly one since its Christmas) out of Virgin's book and do something a little different. A Post Christmas V-F party. January can be such a quiet depressing month so having a party to look forward to can brighten it up, also wonder if we could get better attendance.

And as the Christmas season properly starts with Christmas Day (Advent being a period of preparation and self-denial [:0]), this would be traditional as well as 'different'.

Ok then - probably better for January anyway - realised when Decker posted that I'm actually away from Xmas Eve to the middle of January, so I guess Satdis 15th/22nd/29th Jan look better for me [:)]

I certainly would be up for a post christmas bash to sweep away those blues.

Perhaps we could make it a 'formal' occasion with a presentation for someone who might be able to give tips on how to do a TP run[;)][;)] followed of course by an extensive discussion on the merits[:D]

Come to think of it, why not just party and talk of future VS adventures.

all the best

Buns
P.S. Look forward to buying you that drink on the boat

I think the post Christmas suggestion is excellent. We have so many do's in the run up and then nothing after. Though we are all on the New Year's resolution diets[:(].

I am back from MIA 6th Jan, so any weekend after that should be fine by me.

I need to do as much in Jan to get me through it. Think the 15th/22nd are fine. Might be in KUL on the 29th. Will know exact dates in a couple of weeks I'm guessing.

Yeah I guess it would be rude of me not to turn up! [:)]

As long as they let young people in...... None of this Over-25's nonsense!

Thanks,
