The third annual 'V-Flyer River Boat Shuffle' will be on Saturday 29th July, it will be an evening cruise, departing Maidenhead Riverside at 19:30 returning at 23:30.
We will be on Pink Champagne:-

Space will be limited so please register early. I have listed below those that have already expressed interest.

Due to the good initial response from my fellow V-Flyers and some hard negotiating we have managed to get the price down to 45.00 per head! This will cover Boat hire, a four piece Jazz Band and the Buffet. More V-Flyer shipmates registering will drop this figure still further so what are you waiting for?

Monies are now requested from all you jolly sailors [;)] you can pay by PayPal to my account; [email protected] the amount to pay is 46.79 per person (PayPal will deduct 3.4% + 20p for their commission) or PM me for the details if you wish to pay by BACS. I need either the full amount or a deposit of 25 per person now and the balance (20) by 8th July please.

The Thames Hotel have come up trumps and have held and in some cases reduced their rates from last years rate! [y] These are special rates for V-Flyers [^]

I have asked the hotel to set aside a block of 15 rooms; the rooms are held under V-Flyer and you should mention V-Flyer and Booking Reference 44746 when booking. All V-Flyers and guests to responsible for settling their own accounts.

I would suggest that you confirm your booking early as this is a busy period for the hotel with weddings and functions and whilst there is currently (as of March 6th) plenty of availability this may not be the case nearer the date.

Prices are as follows and are per room, per night. Further savings are available for those of you wanting to make a weekend of it:

...................................................29th......2nd and/or 3rd night
Executive Room.............................70.00..........60.00
Triple (family) Room........................70.00..........65.00
Double room..................................55.00..........45.00
Single room...................................40.00..........35.00
Double room for single occupancy......45.00..........40.00

All prices include full English breakfast and VAT.

There will be a late bar when we return from the cruise, not that any of you would be interested in that [;)] and the hotel has just installed complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the private and public rooms [y] so those embarrassing pics can be posted even earlier.

Telephone: 01628 628721, Fax: 01628 773921,
email: [email protected]

You can find their website here for those of you who want to have a nose around. [:)]

YAY!!!!

I was thinking that once we retire to the hotel to continue drinking into the early hours of the morning would it be really tacky to want to change into Ninja Suits?

Bazz,
The new UC fares and the idea of MCuth chortles wafting through the air while we are gliding serenely down the Thames ... well, the combination is too much to resist.

Chuck-

Edited on Feb 6: just snagged a return sale fare!

Hi Iain,

I am still in the process of negotiating rates and hope they will agree to the same as last year. I have made a block booking in the name of V-Flyer (or quote my name).

Can you hold off for a few days, hope to resolve by the end of the week.

Barry.
