Toying with setting up a sponsorship page for B2B in favour of THT. Wonder if any other runners would like to make it a joint effort?

Yes please Decker [y]

For after the race, does anyone want a space blanket to carry? Yes, I know you'll look like a giant Christmas turkey in it, but might be handy for the park if it gets a bit chilly.

I can get them through a 'contact' so no charge.

My contact has come up with 16 so will bring them along.

Marvellous. On the not so marvellous front, I have managed to injure my foot; doctor advises nothing can be done, even if something is broken so just to take Nurofen. May end up in the walking gang...

Sorry to hear that Richard but you are more than welcome to join us (Me, Matt & Dean) as stragglers - I can guarantee you fun when you see their (and maybe my) fancy dress costumes [:w]

Richard

sorry to hear the news about your foot[:#]

I have been less than diligent on the prep front, so news that there is to be a walking gang has made me feel human again[:I][:I]

Just to remind everyone, I not that good on the drinking front

Don't worry Buns, there'll be a few of us walking I'm sure. I'm booked into corrall D and I'm sure Mat will do the same in the next few days.
I'm not sure we'll be able to much other than walk in our costumes anyway [:w]

Ours too [:)] I had it in mind though that a t-shirt formed part of what would be sent, but it seems we collect these after the race?

Cheers

That's right James, you collect them after the race. Didn't take long at all, and was another layer to wear on the way home; though given we have the luxury of our own bus now....

I plan to run so wont have a bag ... might be an idea if the walkers could perhaps carry some essentials like Darrens marathon silver cape thingies. One thing i recall from last year is how cold I was about 20 mins after the race when we'd stopped and sat down for a bit.

Thanks,
Sarah

As a B2B virgin - do they not do a kit bag collection thing like London Marathon at the finish?

Paul and Ben may know better but I dont recall such a thing.

Last year they did hand out bags after the finish line but these were full of leaflets and some sweets and crisps.

Thanks,
Sarah

There is no bag service for B2B. Would be interesting to see with 60,000 possible bags checked.
