Mmm, maybe it might have to be NYC first, and then down to MCO as HHN are on post Halloween if I recall. That clashes with my 30th birthday then.... oh my...

That could work. 31st is a Sunday and looking at last year, HHN was on the 1st too.

With it being half term, you can forget sale fares and Reward Availability will be very tight indeed[n][n]

I think is likely to rule Mrs buns & I out this time[:#]

I can't believe half term is the last week in October again. That is proper rubbish, and I can categorically state that I shall not go anywhere near Disney during any school holidays, after experiencing the bliss of February this year, it is the ONLY way to go. Richard is correct (as usual) by saying HHN is run after Halloween, after reading up on it, loads of people advise to avoid the 31st October, as it is too busy, too many drunk idiots (that is before any V-Flyers turn up) and you just can't get anything done.

On a side note, we are actually going to do Halloween Horror Nights at Universal in California this year!

Last year HHN ran until the 1st of November, but I wouldn't guarantee that for 2010.
I wouldn't do HHN actually on the 31st, even with express pass (which is essential for any night really) as thats the night of the Halloween Parade in New York, which always runs on the actual Halloween night regardless of the day.

Parks may be a bit busier but can apreciate the fares wouldn't be very good. Flying in and out of JFK is an option.

The food and wine festival would still be on for the first week of November.

Oh Tinks, how could you? I seem to recall it switches to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas event in the evenings around that time...

Anyone doing Halloween 2009 in NYC? I will be there for the marathon on Nov 1, 2009.

Not this year Ben, probably next.
Fancy dress once a year is normally enough for me and Mat [:D]

I am tempted and have been discussing it with friends (inc Catherine). Given my general appearance I do not believe much dressing up will be required to fit in with the theme [:w]

As for Matt and Dean - dressing up only once a year ?? WHAT about SEPT in SF then [:?][:w]

Just digging this up as need to lighten the mood a bit.

Just looking around, it appears that as 2010 will be the 20th anniversary, Universal will be doing something a little special for it.

Just looking at my plans, I'm toying with doing West coast then taking the hop over to Orlando for HHN. Looking at LHR-SFO and MIA-LHR with SFO-FLL on VX as the hop.

Bit early to tell yet, but may do the Halloween Parade in New York as a separate trip.

I will miss you guys by a few weeks, we fly back in Sept.. Having done the MNSSHP and MVMCP, i wouldnt bother. We found both events exactly the same.. Waste of money, especially when paying for 6 !!

The so called snow was a few white fluffs floating down on main street, very disappointing indeed.. x My favourite place is Epcot.. Love that place..

What a shame; I was in Orlando over Halloween for 10 days, then back again for Thanks Giving. Should have taken a look here before I went.

edit - Just realised this is for 2010 - Oh well I was here this year; not sure of plans for 2010 as yet, but I will post an update when I know
