Ah, pied de cochon [:D]

Pied de cochon indeed - Gordon Ramsey on Royal Hospital Road does a very fine one with black pudding and fois gras ...

Sorry veggies - if I suggest more does fish work or are we talking vegan-ish?

No meat or fish for me. Not quite vegan as I love cheese.

There won't be much in Paris that can cater to that hence why I'll end up taking my own food with me.

Erm, yes. I'm vegetarian. Someone who eats fish is strictly speaking a pescitarian.

I'm with Tink on this one. Given the limited options in Paris, I'll probably take a packed lunch.

True vegetarians dont eat fish but do eat cheese and milk and eggs. Try telling that to the French or VS for that matter.

We can make small sandwiches on the train from the cheese, two baguettes and the string of onions that at least one of us will be carrying (while sporting a beret perchance?) [:)]

Thanks,
Sarah
