If we can have a van for the day I think it would be good. We do still need post race transportation back to hotels as everyone will want to shower I imagine?

I dont mind where we go, I just know from last year we'll want to sit, eat and drink for a bit while we rest our legs [;)]

Thanks,
Sarah

Sarah and I are now both registered for the event - picking our race packs up at the Expo beforehand; anyone else doing the same?

On a tangent for the Trekkers, I see the new Star Trek film comes out the week before - so off to the Metreon to see the new film?

Mine is being posted to me, hopefully....

I'm up for the film as well as a trip to the AT&T Park to watch some Ball.

All you good runners are going to put me shame, I just know it.
The best I can manage is an occasional bit of jogging.

Dont worry Chuck, we have a small group not indulging in running this year, i think they intend to drink and sashay around the 12k course [:)]

ROFL
If Decker is old then that makes me positively ancient - best I pack a zimmer frame[:w]

The way things are going, those going for the stroll will outnumber those stalwarts who have gone for many a year and continue to improve on their performance. To those I hope our light heartiness is not distracting from the real purpose of this event.

There is nothing to be ashamed of by going for a stroll during the event - as the event is just one of many for the weekend. One month today before the lunacy of the outbound party bus

Baseball: I am going to the Giants game on May 11 (versus Washington Nationals) and May 15 (versus NY Mets).

The minimum group size is 25 BUT could get our own group together. The ballpark is one of the best in MLB as mcuth and Notthingham Nick will surely agree. Tickets are about $30ish a head depending on the seating location, etc. One option is to get to the ballpark early and sit on the cable car for the game...
