I've been looking around at ways to get from the airport to hotels for those on the May 19th Party Bus. Given that most of us are not on D or J fares, there will be no CDC's about.

The 2 options I can see are:

http://www.virginlimo.com or similar.

Or for those wanting to hang with their homies, the BART for about $5.35.

Also, worth looking at for the return from Footstock to hotels rather than risk the Muni?

The BART is cheap and easy, I just hate the trek up the hill to the Westin from the station afterwards.

DEFINITELY need to sort out post-race transport. I am NOT doing the MUNI again! [:)]

Thanks,
Sarah

But there are plenty of you on G's that could do a CDC with miles!

I have no issues with the BART to be honest, given the Westin St Francis is 1 block away from the station. But then never one to say no to a limo.

From Footstock, yes we should sort a limo/transfer as I am not doing the MUNI ever again. How many of us are there now?

EDIT: I just looked at hiring one of those 15-people Passenger Vans as I don't mind driving the school bus from SFO to peoples hotels but none of the big car hire places seem to have them at SFO! Though wonder if I could rent one on Saturday and park it downtown near Footstock, and drop it back on Sunday....

Would agree with Richard & Sarah that post race transport is a priority.

Will anyone be joining me on the Partybus on the 14th??

Don't you mean May 14th Darren??

We (me, Steve & Dan) are up for whatever works best...it may be better for the three of us to team up with Mat & Dean as we're all in the Marriott whereas I think you & others are in Westin??

Cheers
James

There's a Bart stop just metres from the Marriot so I'm happy to take that from SFO.

Again, here here for some sort of transport from the park at the end. The bus ride was hell, especially in flakey Zombie paint and with my face in everybody elses armpits [:D]

Very good rate too! I'd say the Bart from SFO to the hotel for us, its really easy and it feels like your in a 1950's vision of the future!

Is that a future where I can talk about the Gold standard? [:D]

What half-baked drivel!! See how we look at you utter contempt.

Stick to kittens!

In thought, be plain and simple and let your natural sweetness shine though.
