Hi Guys,

I've been looking into a private transfers for us after the race back to the hotels. They all seem to have a silly 3-4 hour minimum that shovels the price up. I've had a comedy quote of 542 from Tristar which, others of $5-600.

Best one I have had so far is from Carey's which was for 246.39 inc taxes and gratuity for a 22 seater bus based on a 3 hour minimum. It's still a little bit higher than I'd like it to be but that is the best by far at the moment.

EDIT: Concierge have just confirmed that the vehicle is a 29 seater, so room to stretch out. Next size down is 10 seats.

How are people with this?

I was working on the basis of the following 20 people (let me know if any of this is wrong). If we work on the basis of 20, then we should call it 10/$15 each and I'll pick up the rest.

Doesn't work out much more than that B2B offer for the dedicated and painfully slow bus last year anyway.

I'm still waiting for that hour of my life back. Having our own bus waiting for us at the end will be worth every penny.

Now there's an idea, we can get the bus to stop outside a McD's so we can get our post race white trash food...[:w]
