Do we have a menu for the curry house? Most will do some sort of British meal like steak and chips or similar?

Thanks,
Sarah

OK Resturant Booked for Friday night at 8pm

I have managed to get a table(s) for 24[y]

Just a reminder, we are going to the Gulshan Tandori in Exmouth Market

Thanks Andy for your excellent organisation with all this, sounds perfect. Steve & I will be staying at the Novotel close to St Pancras which is within walking distance of pub & restaurant [y]. Depending on how we're doing for time we'll either head for the Union Tavern for a pre meal drink or go straight to the Gulshan for 8pm. Looking forward to seeing you all [:)]

Cheers

Folks be aware that the three of the six tube lines connecting to KX / St Pancras are out of action this weekend, most notably the entire Circle Line, part of the Hammersmith & City and the Metropolitan in both directions of the station complex.

Got caught by this myself on Saturday.

Cheers, Howard

The Tube closures are most likely to effect those not staying in the hotel (ie, those early birds who are making their way to St Pancras on Saturday morning). For those at the Farringdon Travelodge, all lines except the Waterloo & City are running on Friday, and the hotel is easily walkable to King's Cross.

For those traveling on Saturday morning, the Northern & Victoria Lines appear to still be running, so route yourself through those accordingly; and this will also apply to everyone going home Saturday night or Sunday. For me, getting back to Paddington on Sunday, it'll mean going from King's Cross to Oxford Circus on the Victoria, then the Bakerloo to Paddington. Not a huge problem; just the usual weekend disruption to travel in London.

Also, although the Piccadilly Line is running, trains on Piccadilly Line will not stop at King's Cross this weekend.

I seem to remember line closures on the Tube for the last PCP too!!!

OK so I'm now on my third set of travel arrangements:

Arrive in Paddington - still the same

Circle Line to St Pancras - shut
Bakerloo Line to Piccadilly Circus and Piccadilly Line to St Pancras - Piccadilly Line shut
Bakerloo Line to Oxford Circus and Victoria Line to St Pancras - still ok at the moment

Nothing is ever easy! [xx(]

I'm going to be leaving London late on Sunday. It's the last performance of my show at the King's Head in the afternoon, so I'm going to head up there after breakfast / lunch and no doubt stick around for drinks afterwards.

Catherine can I join you? - I know a great place for breakfast in Covent Garden, then we could pop into the Sanctuary for some pampering, light pasta lunch in a great little Italian I go to in Knightsbridge, hit the shops, champagne afternoon tea at Fortnum's while we remove all signs of price tags and receipts followed by supper at L'atelier[y]

Not entirely sure where we can fit Brussels into the schedule![:w]

Bakerloo line from Oxford Circus to Paddington
Paddington to LHR on LHR Express [:)]

What time do you need to be at LHR for?
Karen & I need to be back at Paddington for a train at 1200hrs, if it ties in we'll be more than happy to escort you [:)]
