Well, there we were: Chips out, cards dealt, beers being supped and game started Ð only to be cut short because the landlord wants to check the legality of allowing poker to be played in his pub [:(!]. So, we have to wait until he's okay with it.

Given that we'll be officially playing for chips and won't exchange any money in the pub, I reckon we'll be okay.

Easy solution to that is the old 'private party' or 'lock-in', then the sky's the limit :D

Just as a fuuny,Jenn (wife) was playing at the Ceasers Palace poeker room last night/this morning.

She was playing on a $3-$6 limit game (not her game of choice she prefers no limit) when the Hilton sisters dropped by to play.

After helping them lose a little of there inheritance [y] she called me at work to let me know she was heading home...at 6am [:0]

Well we were hoping to play live poker, in the flesh, the real stuff but, alas, the forces of pub gambling legality seem to have put paid to that.

Nevertheless, I'll set up a tourney (say, for 10 players) on pokerroom.com.
