Maybe it's too soon to ask but...what the heck, the Cricket's finished and I'm feeling idle..[|)]

Any thoughts on the location of next year's "big" social? Did it get discussed in Vegas or is it all still up in the air? (so to speak :))

Hi Daisy,
Nothing set in stone yet, so your ideas are certainly welcome, as are those of any of our VFlyers who would like to join the next Social! Where would you like to go?

Viva Mandarin Oriental Delux Villa with jacuzzi at Chang Mai.

Well, its a difficult choice isn't it! [:?]

"Viva New Yoik New Yoik" perhaps? Lots to see and do...nice club house either end, plenty of flights, great hotels, excellent restaurants, shopping ([^])....

Or perhaps Viva Hong Kong? For all the same reasons :D

Viva Singapore Sling is another serious contender!

I'd be up for all of those, although prolly not HKG as off there in March anyway.
If you want to do a group SIN/KUL around the time of end of March 07 I'll be happy [:I]

Well there's an idea, give the poor suffering familes a break and do a big party every two years instead of every year.Im thinking Dubai myself, but 06 is shot to hell already, but 07 would work.

How about a mini weekend away in the fall for 06?

Ooooh Gin!

New York ... Halloween Parade. Not only because I want an excuse to by the most fabulous sequin frock and be a proper Drag Queen for a night but because from what Dean said its great fun! [:I] And the chance to see people dressed as iPods isn't something to miss. Personally i'm hoping for some Tom Tom's so I can ask directions.

I've still not made a social yet ('bout of flu got in the way of the Reading bash [:$])

I like the idea of a long weekend NYC or BOS trip, as flights are relatively cheap when booked in advance, and its not too far for a weekend

NYC is attractive as far are more flights/flexibility....

I too have not made a bash yet, but a weekend in NY does sound quite appealling. Subject to work (and wife[}:)]) of course.

Promise to take her to Macy's - honestly you can leave a shopper in there in the morning and not return to pick them up until they close! Of course you then have the problem of credit cards ;)

Though the one thing I am think of is the fact that this may be better for the spring dye to the fact that the fall is hurricane season and I know my luck [:I]
