Not a handclap at all. Just a gentle reminder. :D

I work in IT. I run a small IT Infrastructure consultancy based in Hertfordshire and in California. Means a lot of US trips just to keep up to date with what is happening!

Amazing! :)

My husband is an illustrator who works predominantly in comics and films. I work with him dealing with original art sales and organising convention appearances. The latter part is the reason I ended up here! Most trips are paid for by the organisations who want him at their event as a guest, but there are one or two shows we cover the costs for as they're so big the business to be done is something we can't miss. I'm still not sure what my job title is :)

And I'm going to my first convention, aka "geekfest" in a couple of weeks! This is a great thread.

It's only Em-Con in Nottingham, in its second year. I'm looking forward to it though :)

Wow, everyone has such exciting jobs.

I'm a PA in a law firm - as bland as it gets.

I live vicariously by booking everyone else's travel!

And that's Igor Stravinsky in the corner, which gives you another clue as to which part of the music world I live in: classical!

+1 to this being a great thread. :D

Freelance programme and project manager specialising in technical delivery and troubleshooting of less than effective supplier relationships.

I am also a musician, doing some writing and playing, albeit mostly unpaid!

Reinsurance underwriter. Fairly niche product so end up travelling wherever there is a client need, can be anywhere except Africa (no demand there).

Obvious contenders would be:

The Virgins
The Atlantics
The V-Flyers

...which means we can discount them, as we are surely a more creative bunch than that!

Considering many of us here are obsessed with spotting G fares when they pop up, how about:

The G-Spots?
