Not able to reproduce that price on Google Flights but it's spitting out £1,200 instead which is still excellent. I'd be jumping on that if I wasn't already in New Zealand!!

A useful spot HL, thanks for posting.

Must admit I hadn't looked at that routing via US and had always been looking at the direct VS LGW-MBJ route as previously had Polish or South Africans travelling along so had to avoid the US transit and as I don't like the flights into Kingston followed by the drive across the island for the main resorts. The direct VS still has some nice £1337 UC returns setting off in early December - 3rd or 5th for 16 or 14 nights - but last one on 10th for 14 nights means flying home 24th into 25th).

If you look on the VH website you get the wonderful anomaly that a holiday in Jamaica leaving 10/12 and returning 24/12 has bizarre flight upgrade prices e.g. to upgrade from E/E flights to PE/E costing £373.41 while upgrading to UC/UC is only £306.85 !

Any speculation as to what the seating is like on Delta JFK to MJB?

Reckon it's equivalent of AA's non lie-flat ones?

Been watching these flights for ages waiting to be able to book, my return date won't go live for another 8 days. Prices now up to 1700 though!! Hopefully not in response to this article, maybe cos BA sale has ended. Raging tho.
