Some of you may have seen a report that the most senior BA executives were to be given unlimited free F travel with guaranteed seats (even if a paying pax was bumpped). Reported in "The Board Room" (a new mag aimed at Directors funnily enough) today that Willy Walsh has reversed the policy and implemented a policy that those entitled to Fee F tickets will be on stand-by and will get bumpped down if there are less than 3 F seats available.
Wonderful old Willy [y]

In this day and age, thats the way it should be, I understand that it is a great perk, but im sure the airline could use the revenue more.

Agreed, and as well as needing the revenue, I would be horrified at the implied message it sends out to customers - "Our executives are more important than any of you lot, so if necessary we will boot you off the plane to make space for them".
