BA increase fuel surcharge

Morning all,
BA are bumping up their fuel surcharge again on long haul flights, an extra £5 per sector on flights under 9 hours and £6 per sector on flights over 9 hours.

How long before VS do the same do you think?[:?]
These reward tickets are getting more and more espensive all the time[:(], when was a free ticket ever actually free?

I wonder if this actually has anything to do with the price of fuel increasing or the fact they are faced with giving refunds on previous fuel surcharges...

Oil is now over $100 a barrel again now to be fair, but that has happened because the big oil companies have reduced production because they 'anticipate' less demand due to the 'predicted' problems with America and a 'possible' recession. It's all backwards!
