Just seen on Sky News that Willie Walsh is going to be ripped apart interviewed by Jeff Randall live on Sky News tonight at 7.30pm.

Given the kicking that BA have taken over the last few days - should be interesting viewing. [}:)][8D]

Merci Darren, not quite the squirm-fest I was expecting but still quite an embarrassing situation for Mr Walsh nonetheless.

Did anyone see Virgin's director of communications on BBC News 24 over the weekend? Managed to slightly goad BA over T5 without succumbing to outright gloating, and highlighted some good things about VS like the UC wing etc...

I saw the interview with Willie Walsh last night, I must say not as bad as I expected. The one thing I must say he did well on was not blaming others, like the interviewer and Mr Walsh said, it would be easy to pass part of the blame to BAA, but he hasn't (yet!).

It was also interesting that Sky was able to find a "Corporate Reputation Expert"[:0] to interview on the T5 situation.
The best one was the guy they spoke to who was going for a job interview and was dressed in his casual beige sweater. He was complaining about how his luggage had been lost so he had no clothes to wear for the interview. The next scene showed the guy walking into a clothes store and the first thing he picked up off the clothes rail was a beige sweater! Not sure if he got the job.
