BA Call Centres?

I need to contact BA regarding my booking for a return trip in Economy to Vancouver in September. One of the travellers is on medication which increases the risk of DVT and I wanted to request allocation of exit row or bulkhead seats. Anybody got any experience of doing this successfully?

Also, it's quite a complicated story so I would prefer to speak to someone who can understand my regional accent - if I phone either Executive Club or the Special Assistance helplines will I be put through to India - or does anyone know of another number based in the UK?

Many thanks!

Any time I have phoned a BA call centre it has been in Newcastle or Glasgow. You choose which is more difficult to understand[:)]

When calling the Executive Club I usually end up talking to someone with a Geordie accent, so i'm guessing that's Newcastle!

In my experience, I haven't found BA to be too accommodating with special requests, though family members have been able to book exit row seats in Y when available during the on-line check-in process.

This number should help: 0844 493 0787 (general enquiries, special assistance)
