Did everyone get the e-mail from BA? They are offering 5000 miles compensation if you flight is more than 15 minutes late from its scheduled departure and if you are on a flexible fare., travelling from now till 2nd September. You can register here

Certainy not a bad offer, and good PR for BA during this time.

Thanks,
Sarah

Indeed... though I notice they don't define 'departure', and so pax who think that means take-off will be claiming for tons of miles, as they sit in LHR's take-off queues for hours...

Hehe ... true. Very much like the ex-JFK flights where you certainly push back on time but take off about an hour later [:)]

Thanks,
Sarah

Thanks Sarah

I will have 5k for my 1 hour late departure to OSL today due to the plane going tech during taxi ! ..... Although it seems its an automated credit and I have only just registered after the flight ... we will see !

As a side issue ... I dont travel short haul very often for work, I have been staggered at the fares .... £803 for a full 'J' to OSL ... for a sub 2 hour flight !!! [:0]

Thanks again
Mark [:)]

Yup, its a shocker. I've booked two flights within Europe in the past week for work, both in Economy, one is over £300 the other over £500. Absolutely crazy for ~2 hour flights.

Thanks,
Sarah

Just as well I don't get to fly 'on business'.. the NHS would quickly be bankrupt at those prices for economy flights!
