Media reporting rumours, as nothing confirmed from the airline - so possibly true...

I watched the Sky News interview live with WW yesterday. He was asked about this by Kay 'look at me everyone' Burley. He said without any doubt, the number he is looking at is 300, not the 1400 banded around.

And looks like he actually got 450 or 500

BA also struggling with share price and a pension deficit estimated at almost £2 Billion which could soon exceed the airline's market capitalization. Iberia merger delayed.

On top of all that Channel 4 is going on the attack on Monday.

I wouldn't worry about 'Dispatches'. I remember the hatchett job they tried on Ryanair - just made the programme makers look stupid. As for the share price, the author need to look up from their screen occasionally and look at all shares.

The WSJ article is about the comparative fall of BA share value.

All shares have not dropped to less than 1/4 of their value one year ago. (At least not yet [:$] )
It also compares the recent drop to other airlines such as AF & LH.
Particularly important is the recent drop compared to Iberia - as the merger was based on an all-share deal.
BA shares have fallen close to 60% over the past month but Iberia shares lost around 40% over the same period.

I've bought the required 200 shares in the past day so I can qualify for the 10% shareholder discount, won't take too long to get the ~£250 investment back in discounts as it works on sale fares too (with up to 8 travel companions).
