BA and Short Haul Meals

As I understood it from this week BA were cutting the majority or making changing to their meals for short haul flights......yet they are still visibly saying on their website that one of their USPs is that food is availble on flights....compared to budget airlines.....how can this be?

yeah I saw that, I was just wondering why they were still advertising free meals....when it is not the case.
