Willie Walsh and Michael O'Leary

I'm currently watching Wee Willie Walsh on our Late Late Show and he is interesting about his time in Aer Lingus but really hasn't got into his stride about BA as yet. He has spoken very positively about Michael O'Leary while not necessarily agreeing with him saying he has transformed the airline industry - a remark which can be taken either as a positive or a negative.

With regard to MOL, when the Queen was leaving my beloved ORK this afternoon (following in my hallowed footsteps) her plane was held up at the runway for the landing of a Ryanair flight from Liverpool. I'm just waiting for the ads tomorrow from Ryanair saying something like "Even the Queen defers to Ryanair" :o) I wouldn't put it past him!

I'm sure I saw WW at the State Dinner for HMQ.

Anyway Ryanair has a cheap pre recorded on time fanfare but HMW has the State Trumpeters!

Yes you did. Didn't you hear his name being announced or did your commentators talk over it?

it was just a general shot of the audience I think after MMQ and Uachtarán na hÉireann McAleese had walked in and were getting seated.
