It is ages since we flew domestic from T3. From what l can recall it was organised chaos!
Can anyone tell me if things have improved. Our forthcoming BA flight is just three weeks away and l am not looking forward to it!
We are overnight at MAN prior to a 1.30pm flight the next day, so have plenty of time.
Sad that there is no lounge available to book....always willing to pay!
Will do olci ....hopefully!
What time would you advise us to be at the terminal please.
Many Thanks

Whilst MAN T3 has improved now, for example security is much much better and much more efficient than it used to be, there's still not a lot of places to sit once you are airside and waiting for your BA flight. It's better than it used to be but not by much.
Security is now located right at the far end of the check-in area (the area that used to connect to T1), the opposite end of the terminal to where the BA check-in desks are!!
They have that same BAA syndrome of thinking that replacing seats with shops is a really good idea!!
As you mention there are no pay-to-enter lounges in T3.
Remember domestic check-in is only 1 hour before so dont get there too early.
I've never had to queue up for more than a few mins at BA check-in and again never had longer than a few minutes wait at security either. From check-in to airside has never been more than 15-20 minutes recently for me.

When I flew BA from MAN at the begining of May there were plenty of seats in the departure lounge though admitedly this was a Sunday lunchtime so may not be representative.
Security would have been quicker if the woman in front had finished her yoghurt before she joined the queue!

Thanks for that information, am hoping it won't be too bad on a Monday lunchtime!
