Which Airline to Hong Kong?

From London, not flying Virgin (long story - mainly timings) which airline would you recommend for First out and Business return - BA or Cathay? Anyone else I should think about? Mainly done this route on UC VS (more than happy) and once on BA Club (not bad). For me, comfort of bed is most important thing - followed by quiet cabin and IFE.

I agree about ANZ but obviously they don't offer first class -- also their flight to LHR is not daily and the return day sector is pretty poorly timed for someone on business (in my opinion).

If you're using BA make sure you get the flight operated by the 777-300 (BA27/28 I think) because these are brand new aircraft, new IFE, and are guaranteed to have new first.
Cathay seems to be very highly rated though.

Have you had a look at the new Hong Kong Airlines offering from LGW?
