I will post a full trip report in the next few days (when ive not been awake for nearly 24 hours) but I've just returned from Tel Aviv with BA. Given some of the negative reports on VA and inconsistency I can easily say the same applies to BA

In brief, flight half full/empty and crew blocked off the last two rows where two of them after the meal service proceeded to sleep whilst two more were in the back galley reading. I'd hardly class a 7pm out of TLV as a night flight but they treated it as such rushing the dinner service and and not offering any further drinks unless you went to the galley or pressed the call button

Maybe lack of sleep is affecting my judgement but it wasn't great in comparison to outbound or my BA flight to Istanbul last week

A cursory glance through Flyertalk and you'll see a lot of mirroring of complaints.
