BA's first 787-9 will be on the LHR-DEL route from October 25th.

The BA 787-9 has an 'improved' First class seat, but a smaller cabin than the rest of the fleet, 8 instead of 12/14/17.

The full seat map is not yet up, but you can select seats (not a full seat map is shown)

I am looking forward to trying out the 787-9 First class seat, when it goes on to other routes.

Yeah, nice if it starts on KUL before I go there J in mid-January. Will be my last BA longhaul for some while. Not hopeful.

Well, prompted by their emails (wow!) about time changes (KUL to LHR 23:45 instead of 00:05 on same day - let's not even go there) I went the seat map and lo and behold 789 on both legs. Starts early November apparently.
