Only ever used my clubcard points for virgin but I've got 15k in avios from a BA Credit card so was thinking of bumping that amount up , is there a difference between executive club avios and standard avios?

As when i look on tesco i see two options, Avios and BA Exec Club Avios?

Presume i want BAECA but see there is a competition offer on standard Avios for every £2.50

Avios are transferrable between Avios.com accoints and BAEC accounts (and Iberia Plus too, but the Iberia account needs to have been opened for 90 days and have been used at least once before you can transfer Avios in or out of it, so I would avoid putting them in there, unless you have an established Iberia Plus account already).

It is simple enough to open a BAEC or Avios.com account and they can be used immediately. I transfer Avios every month from Avios.com to BAEC online. The transfer is instantaneous.
