Wasn't sure where to post this as it involves both Bmi and BA but decided on here.

Finally be announced after 10days of speculation that Bmed have been brought by Bmi. Bmed currently are a BA franchise operate mid range routes to Africa and Middle East/Asia.

Very interesting move by BD- they have taken over the company with immediate effect and the BA franchise will end in august.

Maybe we finaly have a strategy from BD- being a focus on medium-long haul routes with Bmi baby operating other routes.

Hope they start up on LHR-ATH... that's a route that could use a bit of competition. BA and OA duopoly at the moment.
