Hi -
is it possible to book a business class fare online at the the BMI site - (can't seem to find that option?) - specifically a LHR - ABE fare that would generate 1 x VA Tier Point.
many thanks
Andrew

Not all domestic BMI routes have a business class cabin any more. LHR>ABE is one of these routes I'm afraid.
Domestic routes that have a business class cabin are (taken from the BMI web site):
business class is available on our regional flights and Heathrow à Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh and Glasgow

If you book a full Y fare, it's considered business class so will earn your 1 TP.
Thanks,
Richard

Thanks for that Richard, I didn't know that. I take it that's on any BMI route then?
For domestics you would need to select 'Premium Economy' which gives you a full Y fare.

Hi James,
Applies for UK and European routes:
http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/fr ... es/bmi.jspFor Transatlantic, Y fare basis is treated as a Premium Economy booking when it comes to mileage and TP.
Thanks,
Richard
