Is there a link banner available to be able to link to VirginFlyer from my own website please?

TIA

Thanks (and welcome home!).
Actually, I just thought of another thing - how about the ability to get an email notification when there's new postings in the forum, particularly if there's new replies in a thread you're active in? :)

Cheers

Michael

Ok, here's one to get you started:

The email notification thingy might be more tricky, since the forum code this is based on doesn't support it by default. Might take a bit of work to shoehorn it in, but I'll take a look as to whether it's at least possible.

Superb - thanks. I'll include it in my next site revision (which is "in progress" :D)

Now Pix, did you come up with slogan for the banner yourself or has one of those marketing luvvies being helping you? :D

Thansk,
Richard

Look out for another bit of marketing, the VirginFlyer calling cards.

Our over-worked and under-paid (zero!) team have been charged with distributing these on their travels to the far-flung parts of the VS network. See if you can spot one. And, if you reach the parts other VirginFlyers don't, and want to volunteer to distribute some in your neck of the woods - drop me and email and let me know what you need ([email protected]).

And, as a bit of a teaser, look out for next months i-Fly magazine...

Hi Pix,

Those calling cards look fab!

I don't suppose you could request that FC give one of them out to new members when they get sent their FlyingClub card? Or would there be no way they'd agree to that?

How many of those cards are you giving out to people? I've got several trips planned in the coming months and would love to distribute some!

TJ :)

I've given a few out at work - the link to the site went out to the c.1500 on our Social Alias too.

Maybe Pix should 'autograph' some and create some really unique calling cards! ;)

I've been a bit slack on my flight habits recently, JFK next Thurs though so I'll see how many I can distribute then (Pix are we on commission? [:p])

Thanks,
Richard

I've dished some out at work, and some on the courses I've been on here in Euston (still posting on a dial-up [:(]). Still got LGW > MCO > SLC > SMF > SLC > JFK > LHR starting a week on Monday, so more going out then :D

oooooh - great call :D

Hi Pix - I see there's now a "subscribe to this topic" check box - is that the same? If so, thanks :):)

I've handed out a nubmer of cards - link has gone out a few tiem sto 1250+ at work on our social alias in response to flight questions (for some reason, my name always get mentioned when people are asking questions about travel[:0] )

Dished out a few on my travels too, to some VS staff at airports too.

Thanks,
Richard

Shaun

I dunno whether I've had any success from handing out the cards (maybe we should have registration numbers to link them to each member :D), but I've been doing my bit on this trip, there should be some around in LGW, Orlando, Salt Lake City and Sacramento so far - JFK to add on the way back :)

Cheers

I gave some of my cards to a friend who flew to JFK last week. He said that he left a pile on a table in the LHR clubhouse, then sat a distance from it and watched to see what happened.

Apparently, the entire pile was taken and the cards actually sparked a little group discussion amoungst the people who sat at the table! :)

Perhaps that's a tactic. Go around the clubhouse putting little piles of say, 4/5 cards on each table ;)

I've updated the link banners for VF to fit in with the look 'n' feel of the site. If you're linking to VF (or thinking of it), please feel free to use any of these banners.

Ta,
