Try an online spyware sweeper such as this one

I also use Webroot Spy Sweeper full version software which is available on that web site as well. Stops spyware before it gets onto your PC. Highly recommended.

Just to try and stop it happening again, what did you download?

I am not aware of a toolbar being advertised on here.

When was this on here?

btw..there are a number of good programs around to stop this type of thing..

Spy Bot works well and has a monitoring system now.

as above lava soft

and of course...fromMS windows defender

all work well

you may also want to run a reg cleaner through your system just in case it left something nasty.

When you said 'advertised on here earlier' in your first post, I assumed it was something to do with V-Flyer.

Yup - I was confused too. I've never seen any search toolbars/similar advertised here on the site. [?]

I know the type of ad you mean, Chris but I have never seen that sort of ad on V-Flyer. Is it something that appears when you aren't logged in to the site?
