I've been trying to figure out the problem, and I have exhausted all the usual subjects[:?], so here goes.

First, I had trouble even setting up an ID. I finally gave up trying to use my Hotmail email (which works just fine for PayPal!) and changed it. Ok, that finally worked, as long as I made sure all the profile info was deleted.

Then I tried to update my profile to add one. All I've gotten is this:

Gee, all I want to do is add my *real* name, my country, age, etc. For some reason I am upsetting the server. I thought, 'maybe I just need to post for the first time?' That didn't work either.

I want to get a membership kit, but should I wait for this glitch to get fixed, or will getting the kit allow me to change the profile? I don't suppose the profile matters in the long run, but it seems more polite than 'hey, you - who and where the heck are you!'
