I noticed the numbers of users online at the bottom of the forums and was just wondering why 280 users were all on line at this time?

It was much talked about but never clarified with certainty. The speculation is that someone on FT or A.NET linked a photo posted on this site and the hits drove the count up...

This question comes up regularly, but given that most of us cannot recall what we did last Tuesday week, it is highly unlikely we will remember what happened 4 years ago. IIRC it was much talked about at the time and Decker's suggestion is the most likely
