We're doing some extended testing of a new chat room, which appears to be ok in the Beta group. Now it's time to see if it copes with several people in it at once.

How's 8pm tonight (UK time) for people to give it a go.

I'd just like to say a big well done to Pix for the finished, live implimentation of the VF chat room. Looks fab! I love the VS tail on the standard skin!

On other sites where there's a chat room, I've noticed it works best if there's a scheduled time for a weekly chat. That doesn't mean the chat room can't be used at other times, or that there's any obligation to show up for the scheduled chat, but rather a time in the diary when people know there's more like to be others in the room.

I'll leave it up to the wider democracy to decide when would be a good time.
