V-Flyer

Again I find myself arriving at the airport early, mainly in anticipation of potential check in problems as unable again to use OLCI[:#]. 4 people ahead of me in the First line, Economy was busy also, not very efficient and finally reached the counter 30 mins later. There was quite a queue behind me now, I felt sorry for them as I knew that my passport was about to set some bells ringing[?]. Sure enough the passport was whisked away and some 10 mins later returned with the normal line OK youre good to go or Youre legal cant remember the exact line (Starting to annoy me)[:(!].

Made my way to the security line that wasnt too busy in LAS terms, again got through without any further problems. So I assume that the only future annoyances encountered when flying to/in the US will be the phone call to verify my identity at check-in[?]!

Lost $500 on the wheel of fortune[:$], depression set in so made why way to the US Airways Club for some well needed rest, Sorry sir but America West First class passengers are unable to use the lounge anymore[B)] NICE ONE!! Whipped out the Priority Pass and hoped that this would allow me in, thank you Sir!! WINNER[8D]!!

Flight called on-time and again boarding was efficient, no pre flight drink offered though, infact only one drink and snack was offered on this flight. The FA seemed more interested in reading a magazine behind the curtain.[:(!]

Disembarked and headed for baggage reclaim, on arrival a number of us were looking at the screen to see what carousel our luggage was on, we waited and waited .. 30mins passed,[:?] I then caught glimpse of an US Airways office and strolled over, I really couldnt believe what I saw, hand written pieces of A4 paper with our flight number selotaped to the window explaining which carousel our luggage would appear on![:0][:(!] No announcements made just the paper, caught the attention of some fellow PAX and word got around soon enough. It goes without question that our luggage had already done about 30 cycles and was been removed and placed into piles[:#]. I have nothing more to add 2 completely different experiences with US Airways/American West I certainly will try alternatives in the future[n].
