V-Flyer

Had our first experience of Air Berlin last week when we flew from Manchester to Paderborn to baby-sit the grandkids for half term week. Have to say I was impressed by the service offered and by the demeanour of the crew on this LCC [:D]

Flight out on Monday morning took off on time and the crew swung into action with the complimentary ham or cheese roll + coffee/tea/juice. The 737 was only about a third full so there was plenty of space for the short hour and 10 min hop to Germany. No hassle landing and speedy baggage reclaim saw us out of the airport within 15 mins of landing.

Coming back on Friday evening there was the same efficient style from the crew and once again we were on time. A few more on board this time but we were still off the plane and through passport control in 20 mins. However good old MAN baggage handlers it took almost 30 mins for the bags to come through [:(!]

Still, all in all a very satisfying experience; Ill certainly use them again. [y]
