AF1271 LHR-CDG J Class

We arrived to a very busy T2, with the fast bag drop (not looking very fast) Y class very busy, also the Business Class desk had 2 families ahead of us, it didnt take too long to get to the desk, where we were met by a friendly lady, we put our bags on the counter, qnd the OH was over by 3 or 4 kilos!!! So we had to open the case and try and put it in our hand luggqge!! [n] The lady was very patient with us, she printed our boarding cards through to Mauritius. I had already used OLCI which didnt go very well as it changed my seat to 6E and 6F, I had booked 4A and 4B, she tried to get them back, but couldnt, so we went for 4a and 4k in the hope someone would change once on the plane. After a stressful check in for the OH mainly, we headed for security, fast track was closed, but it didnt matter as it was very quiet, the quickest I have ever been through security, I had no one in front of me and was through in less than 5 mins [^][^]
Headed straight for the lounge, which was fine, nothing special, it had pastries, coffee, beer, wine etc all I wanted was a coffee and watch the planes!!!!
The flight was called, and we headed for the very short walk to gate 11, the rest of the pax had boarded, and we were straight on to seat 2a and 2c, were greeted by the purser and he welcomed us on board, it was a fairly full flight, and full in business, we had a slight delay due to one pax being denied at security, and a family with a sick child, not too sure what was wrong with him.
We took off about mins late (glad I left 3.5hr in CDG). Had a very short flight to Paris 45mins, they offered a pre flight drink, which of course we both took champers, once we took off they gave us a tray of canap_s, which were fine, I wasnt excpecting much more, and of course more champers!!! We soon started our descent in to a very cloudy and rainy Paris 8 degrees!! We taxied to our remote stand, and the purser, gave some gate numbers to connecting pax that had a very short connection. It is worth noting that AF advise of 40 minimum connecting time, I feel this isnt long enough, as once we came to a stop, we waited a further 10-15mins for a covered stair case. We got off and on to a bus, whick took us to terminal 2F we were connecting got on to 2C.
I will post the long haul leg later, I am typing on a french keyboard, and it is taking me a while to get used to it, so apologies for typing errors, I promise it has nothing to do with the G&T I have in my hand!!!!! and also the beach is calling!!!
I knew I couldnt do more than a few days without V-Flyer, it VERY addictive!!!
