BA 0847 WAW-LHR (Club Europe) 3rd June 2007

From the minute I stepped aboard I was made to feel welcome and was looked after by a very warm and friendly crew.
Chose seat 3C this time which was the rearmost row today in the CE cabin. Was offered a drink as soon as the crew were released then opted for the beef goulash for lunch which was quite nice if a little on the salty side (but no where near as salty as the grub in the Post Office canteen in Warrington, so who am I to grumble!!). The purser (who was dealing with the front end) was contantly looking after our needs and I became amused watching an older (but rather glamorous) lady in front of me work her way through a bottle of Veuve Cliquot (blue top?) while I sipped away merrily on my G&T's!!
It just goes to show that it's not all about the hardware - the crew really do make or break the flying experience.
Regards
John
