BA6533 LHR-KRT 22 Jun 2007 (Club World)
Posted: 23 Jun 2007, 15:01T4 was not that busy but even so still took over 25 mins to reach a check in desk, the check in itself was painless and smooth.
Had a quick bite in the BA lounge at gate 1 and after my usual stroll round the shops the flight was called via gate 10, we were bused out to a remote stand to board the BMED A320.
I took my seat which was one of the old style Club World cradle seats but nevertheless it was very comfortable for the length of flight and time of day.
Our departure was delayed by around 90 mins (after boarding) due to ATC issues over France.
We were kept well supplied with champagne and snacks during this time and therefore it soon passed !!
Once in the air I have to say that the BMED cabin crew were superb, very very pleasant and overall a first class in flight service.
We landed in AMM where most passengers disembarked, this was followed by a crew change and after a total time of around 45min on the ground we were airbourne again heading for Khartoum.
Another film, a light meal and several G&T's and we were very shortly on the ground.
A good nights sleep, and a day by the pool in 45+ degree heat and Im ready for work tomorrow.
