V-Flyer

Windy conditions made this an eventful trip. Flight left on time but bumpy. Return flights today were roller-coaster with appology from KLM flightdeck for horrendous landing at MAN. In my opinion, both BGO to AMS and AMS to MAN did exceptionaly well considering the conditions.
Trip to Norway included the need to eat raw whale meat, which was surprisingly good. I nearly made a hasty retreat to the airport when one of my Bergen contacts offered to 'take me up the funicular'. It turned out to be a very good vantage point to see Bergen from a high.
KLM flights were very good with acceptable free drinks/snacks and friendly crew.
Although expensive for food and drink, Bergen is a very nice port and maybe worth considering for a weekend trip.
