1013 BOS-JFK 27 AUG 10 (COACH)

Boston airport is easy and quick to get too - leaving work at 9.20 and being curbside only 15 minutes later.
Oh, and this time I really checked the apartment before I shut the door behind me...!
JetBlue again and check in was painless. I used the check in machine and upon seeing the plane was a 3 aisle 3 config, decided to select a seat at the back where it was quiet.
I found a quiet spot at the gate and noticed that the seats had power points in them - a nice touch. Other airports could really take note of that.
Boarding was early and I was glad of my choice of seat - I had the row to myself where as the front end of the plane was packed.
As the flight was so quick the inflight service was reduced to a choice of Coke, Diet Coke, water of Sprite, with either a bag of cookies or crisps.
And the flight was short. We only got to a cruising height of 16,000 feet, and it seemed like we were only at that height for 3 minutes before we started the descent into JFK. In fact, I think the entire in the air time was less than 45 minutes!
JetBlue use the refurbished Terminal 5 at JFK and once off the plane and walking through it, I think they have done a really good job and the terminal looked cool, sleek and a good choice of shops and eating places. Anyway, I needed to head into the office for the afternoon, so I walked over to Terminal 4 and dropped my case into the Luggage Storage (Thank you again for those that found it for me!) It's next to the arrivals in T4 - if you have just arrived, come into the terminal and it's on your right, behind the counter that always seems to have balloons. And for my small case it was $4 for the day.
Decided for a change to take the airtrain to Jamacia and get the train into town. It didn't seem to be any quicker than a cab - I just fancied a change! Anyway, I was reunited with my keys(!) and had a few hours in the office before heading back to JFK for VS010 back to London. (That report to follow)
Again - a thoroughly good job by Jetblue. Next time I have to do the hop round NYC, Boston and Chicago in November, I will ask the travel department to use them.
