Off to Cincinnati to visit my sister for the weekend.

I arrived at LGA and went straight through security. As DL now charges you to check a bag, I just brought a carryon. I also used an e-boarding pass on my iPhone, which was easy. Security took about 15-20 minutes, and I had to hold my phone to a scanner when they checked it. And since phones have to be x-rayed, the TSA hands you a green pass which you then pass on the the TSA agent after the metal detector. All very easy.

I get to the gate with an hour or so to spare before the flight, but I find out it is delayed...by 45 minutes!!

Finally boarding started, and we took off at 18:41, 1 hour 11 minutes late.

Soon after take off drinks and snacks were served. Choice of the usual drinks, plus peanuts, cookies, or pretzels. I opted for peanuts and the flight attendant handed me about four packages.

I made use of the inflight wifi ($8 for the flight) and before I knew it, it was time to land.

We landed at around 20:20 (30min late), with gate arrival soon after. It is a long walk (actually a train ride) from the concourse to the main terminal, but since I had no bags to claim, it was right out of the airport for me.
