Just a quickie!

Travelled from Cockfosters to Gatwick via public transport (surprisingly easy - Nightbus N91 to Kings Cross, rail replacement bus to London Bridge then FCC Thameslink to Gatwick.) But I'm getting too old for all that!

Gatwick South Terminal security was slow as usual, but once through the other side we made our way to the lovely No.1 Lounge for delicious bacon butties and coffee and pastries and yogurt and cereal and fruit.

Usual queue to board - I waited till last because that way you can usually avoid the kids, and after take off dozed for the entire flight. easyJet crew on boarding and disembarkation where very professional - as they have been on all my recent flights - the plane was clean, and take off was on time.

Cologne Airport is rather lovely and has a fantastic train station for fast services to the city itself.

Yet another quality easyJet flight!

Great review from an ezy flight.

TBH its been a while since I had a good flight with them, my last trip to Budapest wasn't great! Will use again though as price is right.

Good tip for avoiding the kids!

Luke

I love the fact that you can get to pretty much anywhere in Germany from their airport train stations! :)
