746 SJU-MCO 17 APR 11 (ELR)

Dropped off at the airport at 1215 for the 1609 flight to Orlando, the airport was hell on earth - three cruise ship passengers all trying to leave at the same sort of time might have had something to do with it, but it was chaos. All luggage if heading back to the USA needs to be scanned by the USDA before it can be checked in - this was organised chaos!!
Check in completed by 1pm and the check in agent was professional but nothing more than that. Through security and had a bite to eat. The flight was on time which was good news. Boarding commenced at 1530 and with having booked ELR seats, was the second person on the plane. Welcomed with a smile. The flight was full.
The captain came out to speak to everyone from the front entrance before push back and promised a smooth flight (which didn't happen) of 2hrs52mins.
Headsets were offered free on this flight, again no direct-tv but a choice of three movies were on offer but none of them took my fancy.
Drinks and snacks were offered an hour into the flight, service was rather slow but that might have been because one member of the cabin crew was wearing very high heeled shoes and complained her feet were aching all flight long! Only one offer of drinks but that might be the norm with jetblue?!
The flight was bumpy most of the way and 45mins out of Orlando, the captain did switch on the seat belt signs as a major storm was hitting the Miami area and it did knock us about a bit. It was interesting to watch as we bumped our way around the worst of it.
An early arrival into Orlando at 1905 turned into a nightmare as our gate was not available and then they switched gates for us but the luggage did not arrive until 2010 which is unusual for Orlando.
I was not blown away by this flight, the crew were not very friendly or attentive but the ELR seats were good.
