V-Flyer

This was a bog standard flight between LHR and Cork.....

Well apart from being picked up at the hotel by Tristar and brought in style to the airport.......

And being escorted down the Mall by members of the Household Division in full regalia on the way there......

And not having a G&T on board because I was driving.

The most noteworthy part was arriving in Cork to find the Aer Lingus retro plane there.

It was painted to celebrate Aer Lingus' 75th birthday.

I saw it in Dublin a couple of months ago but couldn't get my camera out in time so I was delighted to see it in Cork and better still that we fetched up alongside it
