Normally i would include this trip on the main TR but i think BA cabin crew deserve credit when credit is due. Check in was very smooth as online check in carried out the day before. I do not understand why BA charge £10 to book a seat before check in opens ?|. Once onboard a football team from Portugal boarded and the cabin crew not only gave the annoucement in English but also Spanish recognising who was on board ^)

A gentleman behind me decided to nap for the 30min flight but the attendant looked at the manifest and personally offered the gentleman when he woke to fasten his seatbelt a drink by name who declined so i thought that was a nice touch.

Overall a short hop to catch the VS 003 to New York the next day.

Just like Sepp Blatter giving a welcome speech in Spanish and English at last week's FraudIFA World Cup draw in Brazil.

Might have been given in Portugese, and JF assumed it was Spanish? Many of the words are the same written down, but I must admit the pronunciation throws me and I only pick up about one word in 10 when in Portugal. Crew were probably reading from a card.

Back OT - the Manchester shuttles are generally very reliable and do exactly what you need them to.

Agreed - all BA (and cityflyer) shuttles I've used LHR/GLA, LHR/EDI, LCY/GLA and LCY/EDI have been fine - very efficient, comfortable and friendly enough for a short hop.
