BD63 EDI-LHR 22 OCT 11 (ECONOMY)

sorry no pictures on this one

after a nice but very windy day in Edinburgh it was time to return to the airport on the Air-link Express bus. a comfortable double Decker with leather seats tables and free wifi for the 25 minute trip back to the airport.
as my mobile had decided to delete the boarding pass for my return flight i had to go to check-in to get a re-print there were 3 desks open and a short Que but i was seen quickly and soon on my way through security (again removing my ipad from my bag)
once back inside the departure lounge i found myself a seat to watch the BD flight before mine load and depart and then watched my aircraft G-EMBI land and taxi to gate 4.
G-EMBI is an Embraer ERJ-145 with the engines on the sides of the tail inside this aircraft there are 18 rows of seats with one seat on the A side and two on the other.
I had seat 18A so i had an engine outside the window (but not in view)
we pushed back 30 mins late as the plane was held in Frankfurt on it's previous trip and after a very rough takeoff dropping a couple of times as the wind changed (you feel it more in little planes) we were airborne.
on this flight there was only one crew member in the cabin who worked well on his own but as with the outbound as soon as he had done a trolley service he was in the galley for most of the flight.
there were clear skies from Manchester to Heathrow via Windsor so some nice views on the way home of Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford, and Windsor Castle.
we landed on the Northern runway and went right to the end before turning off to terminal 1 (a bit to fast for my liking

again this was a good flight from BD but i have decided i don't like the E145 as both flights i have been on them have been a bit bumpy.
