This trip was not only to celebrate my birthday but to fulfil a childhood dream for my wife. It was to go to the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang castle in Fussen Germany. We stayed over night in the Manchester Hilton the night before and flew down the next day.

I was impressed with BA OLCI however only gaining Seq 11-12 n( . I do not and will not pay £5 and £10 respectively to book a seat ahead of check in which to me is just money making behave BA.

I must admit bags checked in at Manchester did arrive in Munich so in wife's happy books as she always believes they will go missing. :D

Both flights were uneventful first being on a Airbus 321 from Man- LHR and quite empty and the LHR- MUC a Airbus 320 which was nearly full.

The snack I must say I didn't like as it was a lemon chicken wrap and was more lemon than chicken . The flight was pretty quick and although they have the skymap on its quite boring after 10 mins.

I did forget to mention this was a reward flight and for £49 for 4 flights and 18000 avios points I can't complain y) y) .

I am due to return on the 8th and have upgraded to Club Europe as the wife wanted to spend a couple more days in Munich and no rewards were available for the 7th .

Overall good flight and food shxxte :P :P
