Sardine Tin. That is all.

OK, not quite all. Skiing isn't exactly an inexpensive pastime, especially with kids in tow over the school holidays. And the one area that Neilson, Crystal etc let themselves down is in the flight department. Even if it is only a 90 minute trip, sub-30 inches of legroom just isn't acceptable. Nor is the money grabbing exercise of introducing a charge per bag for twilight check in on the outbound leg.

It's a pity because overall the whole package thing works particularly well for skiing. The last thing I want to have to do is organise lift passes, ski school for the kids, equipment, flights, transfers and accommodation seperately. But really, these cramped seats on tatty old aircraft actually have me longing for Easyjet sometimes...

(by the way, please tell me if I am ranting more since I turned 40. I'm worried that the Victor Meldrew transformation is starting early...)

I've said it before about this particular airline, it's a real squeeze 'em in, pile 'em high attitude.

Hope you have a lovely time!

Oh it was great Miss G, thanks for asking. Lovely hotel, decent snow cover. So best not to dwell on the flight!
