Need a helpful web host ISP

For my sins I have to try and organise the uploading and subsequent managment of a school web site designed by someone who's "moved on". The web site's been designed using Frontpage, and doesn't appear to be in any way fancy. It works locally on the laptop it was designed on - so at least I know its approximately working!

I have to get the bunch of files that comprise the web site uploaded to an ISP and then get the damn thing to run reasonably. Now, not knowing much at ALL about this sort of stuff, can anyone recommend a supportive and understanding ISP/web host who'll hand-hold me through pulling this off [:0]????

Thanks...

A hand-holding, supportive ISP is an oxymoron if ever I've heard one.

Assuming the files all work locally, and you haven't got any funny file names of directories in there (avoid non-alphanumeric characters and spaces), it should just work if uploaded wholesale to a website.

1and1.co.uk are cheap (though as unhelpful as all of them), and jodohost.com are cheap and reasonably responsive to questions (though based out of Florida, so not as fast as a local host).
