Macs, MSN Messenger & webcams
Posted: 12 Mar 2006, 21:56A while ago there was some discussion (as I recall when preiffer acquired an iSight camera) about using webcams on Macs over the MSN Messenger network. Microsoft's Messenger client for MacOS doesn't support webcams.
Apple users in this situation (especially those lucky enough to have got a shiny new MacBookPro or new iMac, with built-in iSight) may be interested in aMSN - Alvaro's Messenger. This is an opensource (i.e. free!) MSN Messenger 'clone' which does support webcams.
